The Apprentice Going Mobile

apprenticeThe episode of The Apprentice aired last night on 11th May 2011 involved the task of creating a mobile app, something which we are thinking about alot at the moment!

This episode of Lord Sugar was a great illustration in showing how mobile apps are the perfect example of demonstrating fast-moving technology with global reach. The challenge was to "think big and go global".

1.  Don't scrimp on planning

2.  Know your audience

3.  Do your research AND listen to it

4.  If you can't find define your product, you're doing it wrong

5.  Pick a leader who understands your business

6.  Publicity is key

7. There's no excuse for bad user experience - "random" is not a design strategy...

8.  Freemium models require longevity

9.  Platforms are great (to a point)

10.  Always, always stick to your objectives.
