Selective Colour Photography
Photography is a mesmerising art in itself. It seeks to capture the moments in life and preserve them till eternity. Selective colours can give photography that extra special something.
Selective Colour Photography is a post-processing technique where the whole photograph is in grayscale but one object or element is carrying colour detail. It's a great way to draw more attention to the subject of a image - it produces a fun yet quite unique aesthetic to any photograph!
There are many examples of selective colour photograhy around but the link below posted on graphicdesignblog.org is a particularly interesting and intense one as it focuses on a collection of 26 examples of the selection Colour Photography technique all using only the colour RED which produces a particularly intense effcect.
