Visual Editions, nicknamed VE, is a London-based book publisher which started up in early 2009 by Anna Gerber and Britt Iversen. The idea for VE comes from their joint love of bookes and a desire to do things differently, so that everything they do translates into a new experience for their readers, and for all the writers and designers they work with. What they achieve is to make sure they turn all that love and mischief into beautifully, lovingly, wonderfully written and crafted books!
In a fast-changing world of e-book phenomena we think what Visual Editions do is a particularly interesting idea - they are striving to keep the printed book alive with passion and ingenuity to create something different.
Below is a video of the Visual Editions's two co-founders Anna Gerber and Britt Iversen discussing how Visual Editions came about, it's concept, drive, work and future. Take a look - it's captivating what they have to say!
